Bishop J. Kevin Boland has sent a letter with a list of directives to pastors to help alleviate the spread of the H1N1 virus.

The letter and guidelines outline steps pastors may take during Mass, including discontinuing the shaking of hands during the Sign of Peace, the distribution of the Precious Blood, and the practice of holding hands during the Lord’s Prayer.
