Bishop Emeritus J. Kevin Boland participated in the 100th anniversary blessing ceremony of the sinking of the ship Titanic in Boston, Massachusetts on April 10.
In his role as Bishop Promoter of the Apostleship of the Sea, Bishop Boland blessed several wreaths and over a million rose petals that were to be transported by a Coast Guard vessel to the site of the ship’s sinking on April 14.
