Be sure to mark this date on your personal and parish calendars. Please try not to schedule any other events, weddings, etc. on this date as we hope to have everyone come together for this Catholic Homecoming!

The One in the Spirit event is a diocesan-wide celebration of the Catholic Faith. Our first event, held in 2006, was a huge success and we are hoping to make this one even better! It is an opportunity for us to join together in prayer and thanksgiving for the many gifts given to us by our gracious God.

This event is for everyone in our diocese! Since our theme is “A Catholic Homecoming,” we want to extend a special welcome to any Catholics who have been away from the Faith. Those who have been received into the Church and/or have been Baptized in the past year will have a special role in this event by leading the entrance procession for the closing liturgy.

The One in the Spirit event will be once again held at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, Georgia. Located right off of I-75 at 401 Larry Walker Parkway. For directions or more information, check out Georgia National Fairgrounds website.
